 At various veterinary clinics in Los Angeles, Ann Arbor, Long Island, and Buffalo, he served as both a receptionist and an assistant. Most recently, he worked at the Blue Cross Small Animal Hospital, where he was given the honorary title of Lobby Ambassador. Before beginning his career goal of launching Animal Outfitters in October 2005, he was also in charge of the start-up and operation of four pet retail establishments.

Daisy and her human, Lisa, are passionate about creating The Doghouse. Lisa worked at Great Arrow Graphics for 25 years making designer greeting cards before starting the pet store.
