We are animal lovers at heart, with a particular fondness for dogs. We want to help pet parents understand what their pets might need to be happy and healthy, rather than just selling them things.

On Valentine's Day 2004, High Tails debuted. Founders Beth Byerly and Laurie Raymond have a goal of delivering the greatest quality supplies, day care, training, and grooming services to the Roaring Fork Valley's dogs and cats. Over the last 16 years, a lot has changed. Beth's death in 2010 was heartbreaking. Nonetheless, her passion for all animals has encouraged us to fulfill her ambitions for High Tails. We've expanded our expert grooming and training services, as well as nutrition and behavior coaching, allowing us to become the extended family for a generation of Valley dogs.
