Bates House of Turkey is a family-owned Alabama tradition where people come to enjoy specialties like our famed hickory smoked turkey sandwich and our old-fashioned roast turkey dinner. The Bates family established our free-range turkey farm in 1923. As the farm grew in success, we established our restaurant in 1969, about 12 miles down the road from the farm, and the rest is history.
