Jaycee Dog Park

One of Tempe's five off-leash dog parks, this protected location offers grassy spaces, shade trees, chairs, and picnic tables.

The Mill Avenue District in Tempe, Arizona is a terrific spot to take your dog. This neighborhood is densely packed with restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops, and it is particularly popular with Arizona State University students. During football season, join the student throng at ASU tailgates or take a trip down to Tempe Town Lake with Petzooie and roam around the park there. Many of the restaurants have outside seating, so you and your dog may dine together. At all times, dogs must be leashed.

Leashed dogs are invited to accompany their owners on their explorations of Hayden Butte Preserve. You and Petzooie will appreciate the splendor of desert plants, rocky outcrops, wildlife, and historical monuments at this 25-acre park. To safeguard this sensitive natural space, hikers must stay on trails at all times and dogs must be leashed at all times.

Tempe Beach Park, which surrounds Tempe Town Lake and has five miles of jogging, biking, and walking trails, picnic tables, grills, and ramadas, as well as restrooms, welcomes leashed pets. At all times, dogs must be leashed.

Clark Park welcomes pets. This neighborhood meeting location is set on ten acres and features a wonderful enclosed space. Because the dog park is grassy, it's a perfect place to play fetch in the afternoon. Visitors can cool themselves in the shade of the park's trees on warm days. After that, take a walk with your leashed dog along the park's asphalt trails. Owners of dogs are reminded to tidy up after their pets. The park is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day of the week.

Broadway Nails and Spa welcomes pets. While getting your nails done and relaxing with a pedicure, you can bring Petzooie with you. Leashed dogs are permitted inside the store to assist you in selecting the correct color and to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Broadway Nails and Spa is open.
