This Saturday in Minot, you can surrender your pets and stray animals.
If you have a pet that you are unable to care for or a stray that needs refuge, an animal rescue organization in your region would want to help you find a new home for them.
For Belle's Sake is organizing an open surrender event where you may bring your pets and stray animals to be adopted. The animals will be given to other rescue organizations that will be present at the event.
It is recommended that pet owners bring their pets' medical documents with them in order to minimize duplications in medicine or immunizations administration.
The founder of For Belle's Sake, who will also be hosting the surrender event, has stated that they will accept all types of animals.
All of the people are returning to work and life is returning to normal. During the epidemic, many individuals brought animals home with them because they were working from home and had the time, and now we're seeing many of those animals end up back in shelters, according to Shelby Bird.
We also have a large number of stray animals in North Dakota, and there are caring individuals out there who are attempting to care for these creatures, so this is an excellent opportunity for them to do so, she continued.
The open surrender will take place on Saturday at The Spot in Minot from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is completely free of charge.
