Raising Canes contributes approximately $26,000 to Columbus-based Pets Without Parents.
(WSYX) – COLUMBUS, – Raising Cane's 14th annual "Plush Puppy" fundraiser raised nearly $26,000 for Pets Without Parents Columbus.
This week, a $26,340 cheque was delivered to the non-profit, no-kill animal sanctuary.
Raising Canes sells limited-edition holiday plush pups to generate money for local pet non-profit groups during their annual "Plush Puppy" fundraiser. Each of Raising Canes' local communities receives 100% of the proceeds from the campaign, which goes to pet non-profit groups.
One of the things that distinguishes Raising Cane's is its consistent dedication to active community involvement, said Sophie Brightman, Area Leader of Marketing. However, we couldn't have made this donation without the help of all of our amazing local Caniacs. We're appreciative for their generosity, and we're delighted to support Pets Without Parents Columbus' life-changing work for pets in our community."
Pets Without Parents was chosen by Raising Cane's because of their commitment to the community. They've been serving the community for more than two decades.
Raising Cane's will donate more than $600,000 to local pet non-profit organizations across the United States this year.
