The Pets of the Week have been chosen by the Franklin County Animal Shelter, situated at 550 Industry Road in Farmington. Monday through Saturday, Noon to 4 p.m., our foyer, kitten, and accessible adult cat rooms are open to the public. We do dog adoptions on a first-come, first-served basis. To book an appointment, please call 207-778-2638 during regular business hours. We'd be delighted to assist you in finding the purrrfect furry pet to join your family!
Female Blanket, 1 to 3 Years: Hello there! Blanket is my name. My personality is quite intriguing. I'm a charming and outgoing person. I am a highly demanding person who enjoys being pampered. Please leave me alone when I'm through. I'm picky about the cats I hang out with at the shelter.
Murray, a 6 to 7-year-old male Hound mix: Murray is someone you should get to know. This kind old man hound is looking for a loving home that will assist him in continuing his training and help him gain confidence around new people and animals. Murray would like to meet and greet your current dog to see whether they are a good match.
