Pets Alive in San Antonio is running a $5-foot-long adoption bargain.
SAN ANTONIO, Texas — This weekend, San Antonio Pets Alive is holding a new adoption special.
Puppies and dogs measuring a foot in length from the end of their tails to the tips of their noses can be adopted for $5. The offer is valid from Friday, April 22 until Sunday, April 24.
San Antonio Pets Alive is hoping that the adoption special will help some of their long-term residents find permanent homes. Bones, Doublestuff, and Hunny Bunny are among the long-staying creatures.
Bones is a male boxer who is one year old. He's a firecracker, according to the shelter, who loves to play, knows how to "sit," and is ready to learn with goodies.
Doublestuff is a male pointer mix who is two years old. He's a terrific dog that loves to explore and play fetch, according to the shelter. He's a treat-motivated kid who enjoys learning new tricks and showing them off. Doublestuff would make a terrific trail friend or training partner for an active owner searching for a running partner because he has so much energy.
Hunny Bunny is a terrier/American pitbull mix who is one year old. She enjoys making new friends and would be a good fit for an active household, according to the shelter.
