Ivy is this week's Pet of the Week.
GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Ivy is a hound mix that is seven months old. The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina reports that she enjoys cuddling and petting animals of all kinds. Despite having had a less-than-ideal start in life, she is said to always see the positive in everything and everyone.
They say Ivy is apprehensive around new people and situations, but that doesn't stop her from striving to be the best version of herself. Some of her favorite activities include sticking her head out the car window, fetching with her toys, and, of course, drinking pup cups!
My friend Ivy is currently in the care of a foster family, who believes she would be the ideal companion for someone in search of a best friend. Even though Ivy gets along well with other dogs, a meet and greet would be required before she could be adopted.
