Free vaccination clinics are held by People For Animals.
BRIDGETON — From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 2, People For Animals will offer a free vaccination event for cats and dogs at the Alms Center, 1 Bridgeton Ave., available to all Cumberland County residents. On a first-come, first-served basis, services will be provided.
Free Rabies and Distemper vaccines, microchipping, and other services will be offered as part of this event, which is made possible by funds from the Banfield and Petco Love Foundations. Cats must be kept in carriers and dogs must be on a leash. It is necessary to use masks.
Attendees may be able to make a free spay/neuter appointment at PFA's Millville clinic in addition to the free vaccines given at this event.
The program's objectives include lowering the number of unwanted animals in the community by preventing unexpected litters and ensuring that all Cumberland County dogs receive the basic preventative care that all pets require, regardless of their owner's financial situation.
