A New York veterinarian has been accused of animal cruelty and has been photographed choking and hitting pets.
Animal abuse charges have been filed against a veterinarian in Westchester County who allegedly beat and choked animals while entrusted to care for their welfare.
The horrific information from Elmsford's Main Street Animal Hospital should make anyone wince. Westchester SPCA photos show Dr. Javier Diaz seemingly choke a dog, according to one snap. A three-legged German Shepard was also kicked, according to investigators.
He was kicking a few. He was rib-punching animals Westchester SPCA's Earnest Lungaro agreed. That's why we had to move in last night and silence him.
Locals were advised to phone another clinic after the village shut down the animal hospital on Friday. Inside, the clinic looked to have abruptly closed, with no pets visible.
When NBC New York approached Diaz about the abuse, he raced out of the Elmsford Police Department, yelling "No!" as he fled. After a judge let him go.
Following Diaz's arrest, Barbara Moroch came to the clinic with her cat. She left in December.
I'm delighted I got my cat, Moroch remarked.
Investigators suspect more deaths.
If true, this would be devastating. It'd be tragic Mike Eannazzo recently lost his dog.

According to the prosecution, Diaz allegedly threatened three employees and three employees reported Diaz to police. He's accused of forgery, animal abuse, and assault. Neither Diaz's nor her lawyer's information was.
