Yosemite National Park has dog-friendly areas. Dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than six feet during their stay. Petzooie is permitted on completely paved roads, sidewalks, and cycling lanes in developed places (unless otherwise posted). Wawona Meadow Loop, Chowchilla Mountain Road, Carlon Road from the trailhead to Hodgdon Meadow, Old Big Oak Flat Road from Hodgdon Meadow to the Tuolumne Grove parking lot, and Four Mile and Eleven Mile fire routes are also dog-friendly. Pets are not permitted on trails, snow-covered unplowed roads, undeveloped and wilderness regions, public facilities or transportation, hotel locations, or walk-in and group campgrounds. This Yosemite National Park asphalt trailhead features a nice loop from Yosemite Valley's car park east to Camp Curry and Mirror Lake. On the first paved mile of the trail, leashed pets, cyclists, and strollers are permitted. Curry Village has plenty of parking.
