17-acre dog park with separate portion for little dogs that is fully fenced and double-gated (under 25 lbs). On-site payment is required. With confirmation of rabies vaccination and a local municipality dog license, annual licenses are available from Janesville Leisure Services. A hose for washing paws/filling a dog bowl is available, as well as a fountain for people to drink from.

The property is 68.5 acres and is located on Flintville Road in the Village's southwest corner. The park was purchased in 1991 and constructed in 1998, it is named after Minerva Calewaerts. In the year 2000, extra work was done to upgrade the park's lodgings. For access to the soccer/football fields, a disability parking place was given. Port-a-potties are available for use by the general public. Indoor restrooms are made available for use in the building for organized or facility rental activities. A flowing spring that is a tributary to Hidden Lake and the Suamico River is the park's most unusual feature. The walking routes take visitors beyond this spring, across open prairie, forests, and wetlands to exhibit the park's full potential.

The Currie Park Dog Exercise Area is a specialized dog park, while Currie Park is not. However, because this dog area is not fenced, dogs who like to run away or lack a good recall are not the best dogs to take off-leash at this park. A permit is required to enter this park. You can obtain this permit by bringing proof of immunization and a completed application to a nearby pet store or the municipal clerk's office.

The Point Dog Park committee funded almost $40,000 for fencing, gates, and other materials after the City of Stevens Point allocated around 30 acres for the use of a gated leashless dog park. The Point Dog Park will continue to be free to all visitors.
