Evitts Run Park is a two-acre park in downtown Charles Town that was purchased from the Jefferson County Parks & Recreation Board in 2006. A pedestrian entrance in the 400 block of W. makes it accessible on foot. W. Washington St. or Washington St.

42. Buckhannon Dog Park

Buckhannon Dog Park in West Virginia is a pet-friendly recreation facility. This gated area is ideal for letting your dog mingle and run off-leash. Vaccinated, healthy, and friendly dogs are invited to exercise and play at the park. It is easily accessible from the parking lot and walking trail on the Buckhannon River Walk trail near the boat ramp.

43. The TailYard

The Railyard Off-Leash Dog Park is open all year and is free to use. The Fernie Pet Society is in charge of the park, which has a paved trail system that traverses the length of the enclosed 10-acre site. There's plenty of shade along the way.

44. Fitzpatrick Park

Picnic Point's Fitzpatrick Park picnic area is a lovely spot for a family barbecue not far from Sydney. Enjoy a cookout, a fishing trip, or some paddleboarding.

In 1980, the P.O. Faulkner tennis courts were first used. The Martinsburg High School boys and girls tennis teams use the four courts seven days a week, all year (weather permitting). These courts were in desperate need of not just a touch-up, but a total repair after 38 years and only one resurfacing!

Private events can be held in the park's pavilion, which includes a playground and a veterans memorial.

A little over twenty acres of woods, meadows, a playground, and a spring-fed stream make up the park. The park also contains a 1500-square-foot covered picnic pavilion with a full kitchen and restrooms, which is utilized for family gatherings and corporate events. Playground equipment, soccer fields, beach volleyball, horseshoe pits, and a 3/4 mile walking or running route are among the park's principal attractions .[2]
