West Bloomfield Woods Nature Preserve

The Huron Clinton Metropolitan Authority deeded Marshbank Park to the Township in 1987. In 2010, an MDNR Trust Pay grant and Township capital improvement bonds were used to fund substantial upgrades at the park.

Tennis courts, soccer and illuminated softball fields, as well as a skate park and paved fitness pathways, are all available.

The West Bloomfield Dog Park is located at 5911 Halsted Road near Karner Farm. Our Community Garden shares this land with us. A keyless electronic system is used to get access to the park.

There are several wide open fields for running as well as picnic places with charcoal grills. Leashes must be at least 6 feet long. Off-leash dogs are not permitted. Bloomer Park features a network of natural trails that snake their way down to the Clinton River and the historic canal that leads to Yates Mill.
