The City of Watsonville Parks and Community Services Department provides the public with 28 beautiful and well-maintained parks totaling 184 acres, making Watsonville an ideal place to live, work, and play. Franich Park has a playground, dog park, youth baseball field, sand volleyball court, basketball court, picnic and BBQ facilities, and a sand volleyball court. You don't feel cut off from the rest of the park, and dog owners may be out and about with their pets while still being a part of the community. *separate areas for large and small dogs *double door entry *waste bags provided in dog area and around perimeter of entire park *water fountains for dogs and humans *limited bench seating, however, locals donate and leave plastic chairs on a regular basis *plenty of shade *hard pack surface

Pavilions are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Gizdich Ranch

Gizdich Ranch welcomes pets. Apples, berries, baked products, and juices, as well as a gift shop and an antique shop, are available at this farm and ranch. Strawberries, apples, and other fruits and vegetables are available for picking. Dogs were not allowed in the fruit aisles, but they were welcome in the fields and around the farm home. Gizdich Ranch is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
