Dog Park Locations

Our off-leash dog park welcomes dogs and their owners to run, romp, and rest.

Dogs are allowed off-leash in a 100-acre multi-use park with lakes and a canine wash facility.

There are spaces for large and little dogs, as well as drinking fountains and doggie waste stations, at the PetSafe Downtown Dog Park.

Cumberland Gap Off-Leash Dog Park was created by and for the people of Cumberland Gap. Take advantage of the great outdoors with the entire family, including your dogs!

One of the most frequent reasons to visit a Metro Nashville park is to walk and play with one's dog. While all Metro Parks welcome leashed dogs, the Dog Parks are a terrific area for dogs to exercise, interact, and play.

The PetSafe Village Dog Park, located across the street from PetSafe Village at 10424 PetSafe Way, was created to honor the human-dog link! In 2007, Radio Systems Corp. opened Knoxville's first public dog park.

This one-of-a-kind park brings dogs and dog lovers together to play and socialize in a clean and safe environment.

This enclosed dog park, which includes a separate little dog area, will make your pet go crazy for the chance to play off-leash. Vaccinations and licenses are required for dogs. Outside the park, dogs are welcome on the walking routes and open fields. The Centennial Sportsplex on 25th Avenue N has public parking.

The Gatlinburg Trail (a 1.9-mile hike from the Sugarland Visitor Center to the outskirts of Gatlinburg, TN) and the Oconaluftee River Trail are both dog-friendly in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (a 1.5 mile hike from the Oconaluftee Visitor Center to the outskirts of Cherokee, NC). Please note that dogs are not allowed on any of the park's other trails. Dogs are allowed in the campgrounds, picnic areas, and along the roadways, but they must always be on a leash. Your pets should be well-behaved, as in most parks, and you should always pick up after them.

Although dogs are not permitted in Dollywood, visitors who are visiting the Smoky Mountains with their pets can leave Fido at Dollywood's own kennel, Doggywood, for the day while they explore the park. Individual cottages are available for pets who require a little more seclusion. Due to limited space, it is critical that you phone ahead for reservations on the day you intend to visit the park. Dogs are not allowed to stay overnight.
