The first dog park in Spokane opened on December 27, 2010, thanks to a three-year deal with SpokAnimal C.A.R.E. and the City of Spokane Parks and Recreation Department.
SpokAnimal was unveiled as the namesake donor of the new dog park at the Dog Park Dedication on January 13, 2011. SpokAnimal donated $40,000, allowing Phase I of development to begin. Fencing has been installed for the safety of our dearest friends and the security of the community.
