San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve Rios (East) Trail

Annie's Canyon Trail is a moderate-to-strengthening 1.4 mile circle found on the San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve in Solana Beach, California. Dogs are allowed on the route as long as they are clean and on a leash no more than six feet long. The tough section of the walk is not advised for pets. Maggie Houlihan Memorial Dog Park is a 2-acre dog park in Encinitas Community Park in Encinitas, California, containing spaces for little dogs, hesitant or first-time canines, and a huge lawn available to all. When walking to and from the Dog Park section within Encinitas Community Park, dogs must be leashed, however once inside the Dog Park areas, they can be off-leash. Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m., the park is closed for maintenance.
