According to the Seattle Municipal Code, dogs are not permitted on beaches or in children's play areas in Seattle parks.

Genesee Park and Playfield is a large, open meadow that runs north from Genesee Street to Stan Sayres Memorial Park on Lake Washington Boulevard for roughly 5 blocks. The environment is pretty pleasant, as it is located in a quiet neighborhood.
