Almaden Quicksilver County Park offers a glimpse into California's mining past. With relics from the late nineteenth century, you may take a look back at the mining operations of the time. In addition, springtime brings one of the region's most beautiful wildflower displays. Your pet can also enjoy approximately 34.2 kilometers of hiking paths. Picnic tables are strewn across the park. Fishing is also available, although the fish are dangerous to eat due to mercury buildup in the reservoirs. Handlers must be at least 16 years old and your dog must be on a 6' leash. Only two dogs per handler are allowed. Pet care and cleanup are the responsibility of the owners. Aggression is not allowed in this environment. All dogs must be current on their licenses, rabies-vaccinated, and not in heat.
