The Downtown Association, in collaboration with property owners, has established a dog park — the first of its type in downtown San Jose – to provide an off-leash area for the city's growing canine population. The 2,000-square-foot park has a double gate, artificial turf, benches, attractive (and energy-efficient) lighting, planters, and play tree stumps.
