Bear Dog Park at Mahany Park

Despite its tiny size, this fenced, off-leash park with small dog area, water, and shade trees provides plenty of space for neighborhood dogs to run and play. Every Thursday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., the dog park is closed for repair.

On hot days, owners often bring wading pools to this enormous, walled off-leash dog park, which is full of mountainous terrain.

On the walking pathways of Maidu Park, dogs are accepted on a leash.

Picnic tables, grills, a playground, and baseball and soccer grounds are all available at this neighborhood park.
