This year, Parks on Tap makes its debut in Fernhill Park in Germantown! Throughout the spring and summer, this moving communal beer garden will be at various places in Philadelphia's parks. A percentage of the proceeds is donated to the parks!

Parks & Recreation in Bensalem Township takes pleasure in offering Township residents and non-residents alike the opportunity to participate in high-quality, innovative, and inexpensive programming. Furthermore, our immaculately kept parks and sports complexes allow everyone to participate in both organized and passive activities. We urge you to spend some quality time with your family by visiting one of the Township's big parks or tiny playgrounds. Don't forget to look into our speciality programs, such as Summer Recreation, where we take pride in offering first-time summer jobs to our youngsters aged 16 and above. The first Monday in March is when applications are distributed for a one-week period.

Hiking and bike pathways, a community garden, and a radio control model aviation field are all available at this park.

The current operating hours are DAILY 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. conditions permitting Friday and Saturday hours will be 8:00 a.m. beginning May 27, 2022. until 8:00 p.m. Stop in for some delicious food and relax on the outside terrace, which overlooks the lower lake. Customers can place orders by calling the Boathouse at 724-832-7735, and they will be ready when they arrive. (Please note that the Boathouse closes 30 minutes before the kitchen closes.)

In addition to its "Crown Jewel," Borough Park on North Broad Street, Nazareth features several smaller regional parks. The Borough of Nazareth has long promoted the idea that leisure leads to a happier, healthier population, and has strategically placed parks throughout the city to allow inhabitants and visitors to engage in outdoor activities. While the Borough is proud of its park system and the range of activities available, it is even more proud of how well each of the locations is maintained. With eleven parks and a population of just under 6,000 people, the Borough of Nazareth has an unrivaled park-to-person ratio.

Martins Mill Bridge Park, located at 3505 East Weaver Road, was built in 1849 under the supervision of Jacob Shirk. It was built in the Town Lattice Truss style. Ithiel Town, a Connecticut architect, patented the design. It has no arches or external supports and is capable of supporting a bridge up to 200 feet in length. It was less expensive to construct than arch supported bridges. Martins Mill Bridge is 205 feet long in total. After being washed downstream by flood waters during Hurricane Agnes in 1973, the bridge was restored. To sustain the bridge, steel bracing was added afterwards. McMichael Park is a hidden treasure in Philadelphia's East Falls area. This 6 acre rectangular property is a wonderful place to enjoy some greenery, socialize with your neighbors and their dogs, or take Fido for a morning walk. The park is close to the college campus and is bordered by huge, attractive houses. McMichael Park is dog and family friendly, but be aware of Henry Avenue's high traffic.

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission stocks a 24-acre fresh water lake in Mammoth Park (approximate acreage: 408), which provides good fishing opportunities. Another highlight is the 96-foot-tall huge slide and imaginative play area, which has brought thrills to many park visitors.
