Pelham Dog Park is a must-see for all dog lovers in our community. It's along the Greenway Trail in the City Park Complex. A dog run, as well as buildings to climb on or hide beneath, are among the various amenities. Dogs weighing more than 35 pounds should play in the large dog area, while dogs weighing less than 35 pounds should play in the small dog area. Handlers must clean up after their pets and dispose of waste in the bins provided.

Oak Mountain State Park in Pelham, Alabama, is a dog-friendly park where mountain biking and hiking are two of the most popular activities. Visitors can select from more than 50 miles of trails, whether they want to do a quick loop or stay overnight. Dogs are allowed in most areas of the park if they are on a leash. For safety concerns, several bike and equestrian riding trails do not allow dogs. In stores, food service areas, bathhouses, pools, and swimming areas, dogs are not permitted.
