The 1,940-acre Baylands Preserve, which is bordered by Mountain View and East Palo Alto, is one of the largest expanses of untouched marshland in the San Francisco Bay. A unique blend of tidal and fresh water environments can be found throughout fifteen miles of multi-use paths.
This region is widely regarded as one of the top bird-watching spots on the west coast. The preserve is home to a large resident bird population and serves as an important migratory stopover on the Pacific Flyway.
Unless otherwise noted, dogs must be kept on a leash.
