Haw Ridge Park

Boating, a picnic shelter, a playground, a gazebo, and a beach volleyball field are all available along the 173-mile waterfront.

The Oak Ridge Recreation & Parks Department invites you to visit one of the city's many community park areas. Our parks are open all year and provide a wide range of amenities for people of all ages, as well as a variety of outdoor recreational activities.

The Big Turtle Dog Park welcomes pets. This is a fantastic fenced-in area for dogs to run around and play fetch. The dog park, which is located in west Oak Ridge near Big Turtle Park, has two gated sections for dogs to exercise off-leash, one for dogs under 30 pounds and the other for all canines. Each portion of the park has benches for dog owners to sit on, as well as pet waste bag dispenser stations, trash cans, and a drinking fountain.
