Lake Harbor Park

The Dune Climb stairs, a lake-view observation platform, and miles of hiking and skiing routes can all be found in the park.

Muskegon State Park is a public recreation facility in Muskegon County, Michigan, four miles west of North Muskegon. Two miles of sand beach on Lake Michigan and one mile of beach on Muskegon Lake are part of the park's 1,233 acres.

Hemlock Crossing is one of the several trail parks in the Holland area, with 239 acres of forests and wetlands along the Pigeon River. Dogs must be leashed (10' maximum) and under care at all times.

Holland Charter Township, founded in 1847 and formed as a charter township in 1968, is located in the southwest area of Ottawa County, Michigan, about 30 miles southwest of Grand Rapids.

On May 31, 1901, eight concerned Holland citizens known as the Holland Improvement Co. paid $1,830 to Mr. Hermanus Laarman for this tract of land (7.5 acres) in order to safeguard the last of the ancient forest in or near Holland and dedicate the property to the City of Holland.
