All portions of Algonquin Park allow leashed pets, with the exception of the pet-free zones indicated below.

Three pavilions (for rent) are located towards the lake's southern end, along with a playground, walking trails, boat rentals, basketball courts, and a roller rink. Private watercraft are not permitted. With the correct license, fishing is permitted on the lake, and largemouth bass are a popular catch.

This 179-acre park, which was founded in the early 1900s by movie producer Adolph Zukor, features a fitness trail, hiking trails, horseback riding, a horse corral, nature studies, soccer, and cross-country skiing.
