Norman F. Kruse Park is a one-mile stretch of magnificent Lake Michigan beach with breathtaking views of the lake and neighboring dunes. A stretch of the northern beach has been set aside for leashed dogs and their owners to enjoy.

There is a small dog area and a large dog area, as well as a dog drinking fountain, in the fenced-in Dog Park. During the spring and summer, the park is open; however, it is closed during the winter.

Bronson Park Historic District is a Kalamazoo, Michigan historic district that includes Bronson Park and the accompanying government, religious, and civic buildings. South Rose, South Park, West Lovell, and West Michigan Avenues generally define its boundaries.
