1. Castillo's Hillside Shire Winery
Castillo's Hillside Shire Winery's gorgeous garden welcomes leashed dogs for wine tastings. While taking in the gorgeous scenery, sample the award-winning Petite Veridot, Syrah, and Petite Sirah varieties. The tasting room at Castillo's Hillside Shire Winery is open Saturday and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m., and by appointment only on weekdays; call (408) 595-3145.

The Granary's The Running Shop and Hops, which combines a running store and a craft beer destination, welcomes leashed dogs. Petzooie can assist you in selecting a new pair of sneakers before relaxing on the terrace with a craft drink. Over 80 craft beers are on tap at The Running Shop and Hops, with even more available in cans or bottles. The Running Shop is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m.

Henry W. Coe State Park, often known as Coe Park, is the largest state park in northern California made primarily of wide open spaces, and dogs are welcome. Throughout the park, there are breathtaking towering mountains and precipitous canyons. The Coe Ranch Campground, paved roads, and one trail that connects the Visitor Center to the parking lot off of East Dunne Avenue are all pet-friendly sites at the park to enjoy with Petzooie. At Manzanita Point, Blue Oak Horse Camp, Poverty Flat Group Campsites, and the Hunting Hollow or Dowdy Ranch entrances, dogs are not permitted. All other trails in Coe Park are likewise off-limits to dogs.Every day of the year, you can gain access to the park at any time.

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a countrywide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Coyote Creek Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Morgan Hill! A parking lot with easy access to the Coyote Creek Trail is shown on the map below.
