Lafayette/Moraga Regional Trail

This pleasant reservoir park has it all, whether you're searching for a hard walk or a relaxing stroll. On-leash pets are accepted.

This gorgeous, natural recreation area will entice your pet to explore it. They can go anywhere on a leash or roam freely in undeveloped regions.

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Iron Horse Regional Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Alamo! A parking lot with easy access to the Iron Horse Regional Trail is shown on the map below.

Nearly every business in Walnut Creek's open-air Broadway Plaza Shopping Center, including Nordstrom's, Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, and many others, welcomes dogs.

Pets will enjoy the freedom to wander this open space in Walnut Creek. It's a lovely spot for them to get some exercise.

This new off-leash park is fenced in and has separate spaces for large and little dogs, as well as benches, trash bags, and nearby restrooms.
