Admiral Bark Park, named after Woodforest's first canine inhabitant, Admiral Paul, features separate play spaces for little and large dogs, as well as watering stations and dog pick-up stations.

The Civil Rights Audio Walking Tour welcomes pets. Hear about the history of civil rights in Montgomery, AL, as well as excerpts from civil rights pioneers who made a difference. Through the neighborhood, follow the course of civil rights history. Download the tour audio files directly to your phone from the website. Because the tour is outside, dogs are permitted to accompany their owners.

In front of the building, Common Bond Brewers features a dog-friendly terrace. Petzooie is welcome to join you on the patio, but not inside or on the building's back terrace. Common Bond, which claims to be the city's only production brewery, was founded with the goal of bringing the community together. A variety of ales are available on tap, including amber, rye, blonde, and pale. Common Bond Brewers is open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday through Thursday, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Petzooie is welcome to join you on a hike along the Lagoon Park Trail. Lagoon Park Trail, which spans 176 acres, features miles of natural surface routes that "meander through hardwood woodland and pine plains, over meadows, along a creek, and around a gorgeous lagoon." Dogs must be cleaned up after and kept on a leash throughout their trip.

Blount Cultural Park is home to nearly 3.5 miles of paved walking routes, multiple ponds, and magnificent statues. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. This 77-acre park also houses the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, which serves as a regional destination for park visitors.

Blount Cultural Park's Hannah Daye Ridling Bark Park is located off of Vaughn Road. A primary entrance leads to two distinct sections, one for little dogs and the other for large dogs. A wash station as well as a gazebo are offered in each area. In addition, there are benches and fountains located throughout the park.
