Minnehaha Off-leash Area

We welcome dogs in our parks, but you must keep them on a leash in one of our seven designated off-leash leisure areas.

37-acre dog-friendly open space with woodland hiking/biking routes, shelter, and picnic spaces.

The park was first known as the Moulton Tract, after the family that sold the area to the park board. Windom Park was named after William Windom, a lawyer from Winona, Minnesota, who died in 1893.

A 6.6-acre riverfront recreation park with trails open to dogs with the proper permissions.

A distinctive mound with a spiral walkway and lake views is included in this 7.5-acre manicured park.
