Town East Park

While the Leash Free Zone is self-contained, guidelines are posted to help people who enter. Owners are reminded that they are responsible for their pets' actions.

The first dog park in Rowlett has two distinct spaces for large (30 pounds or more) and small dogs (less than 30 pounds). It was made possible by Scentral Bark Dog Park.

The first Dog Park in Garland is now open for business. The three-acre off-leash park project is ideal for a range of dog-friendly activities!  

Baseball Field and Community Center are among the amenities available.

ElmWoof Dog Park is a 0.3-acre green space at 2100 S Edegfield Avenue in Oak Cliff that is being considered as the first dog park south of the Trinity River by the City of Dallas. It is expected to become a defining recreational feature of City Council District 1's Elmwood neighborhood, with the goal of providing an off-leash public space for dogs, encouraging responsible pet stewardship, educating the community about adoption and vaccination services, and stimulating economic development along the "Downtown Elmwood" commercial district. The present plan calls for a 7,500-square-foot enclosure, and the project is expected to be completed in 24 months. Using the give now option on this page, you can direct your money to this project.
