John Henes Park

Bailey Park is about a mile and a half from downtown. M-35 is 15 miles north of Menominee. Within the park's limits lies the West Shore Fishing Museum, which was originally home to the Charles L. Bailey commercial fishery.

Dogs are a common sight in the park, joining both community walkers and campers.

A small local beach with a limited shoreline and a bayfront park that is popular with swimmers and kayakers.

Hull Park has a boat launch on Boardman Lake, as well as boardwalks and a fishing dock. A small gazebo and an amphitheater are accessible for small events and enjoying the lake views. The park is home to Traverse Area Community Sailing and has restrooms open from spring to fall. An enlosed pavilion the accomodates up to 50 people is provided for events on a limited basis.

Ferry Beach Park features a sandy beach on Lake Charlevoix, as well as a boat launch, playground, volleyball nets, basketball courts, and horseshoe pits.

Fisherman's Island State Park is a 2,678-acre public recreation area southwest of Charlevoix, Michigan, on six miles of Lake Michigan shoreline. It's called after Fisherman Island, a small island around 900 feet off the mainland.
