Dogs accessing the Dog Park must be up to date on immunizations (including rabies, distemper, and parvovirus, as required by NC regulations), parasite-free, and free of any communicable diseases.

Non-city boundaries residents (ages 18-54) pay $2 for open gym. Residents of the city limits, all children under the age of 17, all individuals 55 and over, and members of the military are not charged an open-gym fee.

This 3-acre loose-leash dog park has separate fenced-in zones for little dogs under 25 pounds and large dogs over 25 pounds, which your canines will appreciate.

Gardens, golf course, fishing lake, equestrian stables, BMX race course, paths, and more can be found in this county park.

The Wendell Paws Dog Park features a fenced-in space for both large and small dogs, as well as plenty of trees to provide natural shade. The Hidden Oaks Dog Park is walled in and placed on an acre within the municipally owned Cub Creek Park, allowing your dog to run and play off-leash from sunrise to sunset. The fenced-in space is divided into two sections: one for large breeds and one for tiny breeds.
