Mutt Run was established by Lawrence Parks and Recreation in 2001, and dog owners have made great use of it since then. The park is located on land leased from the United States government. Below the Clinton Lake Dam near West Lawrence, the Corps of Engineers.

Mutt Run is the perfect place to bond with your dog, socialize with other dogs, and let your dog run free. There are restrooms, a drinking fountain, dog water, and a small parking area in the park. Through the fields and along the wooded areas, mowed paths can be found.
