3. E.P. Tom Sawyer Park Community Garden

There are now 155 garden sites at the Tom Sawyer Community Gardens. These gardens are open to the general public.

This park has sports fields, disc golf, a playground, and a dog run in addition to an 18-hole golf course.

The Louisville Dog Run Association (LDRA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization made up entirely of volunteers dedicated to running off-leash dog parks around the Louisville area. In the Louisville Area, there are now eight official off-leash areas:

7. Barklands

The Barklands, an off-leash dog park next to the Egg Lawn, is open to Louisville Dog Run Association members and is separated into three one-acre zones: one for large dogs, one for smaller dogs, and one for "resting" dogs (or closed for use).

While your dog enjoys off-leash fun at the Vettiner Dog Run, take in the gorgeous views of Charlie Vettiner Park. This two-acre park is securely enclosed and has separate areas for little and large dogs.

The Old Louisville Dog Run, located within Toonerville Trolley Park, is a fantastic off-leash park for dogs. This dog park is a fantastic place to spend the day with your four-legged companion!
