Welcome to the first-of-its-kind Dog Park in downtown Indianapolis! We've been open since October 2020 as a volunteer-run dog park. We intended to construct a city park where dogs of all kinds could mingle.

Fort Harrison is a state park that is open all year for a variety of reasons. Visitors can enjoy the park all year, but especially in the winter when Fort Harrison is home to one of the area's largest sledding slopes. With the forest wildflowers in full bloom across the park, spring is the best time to go for a walk.

3. Broad Ripple Bark Park

Indy Parks in Marion County has four dog parks where your dog can run off-leash and mingle with other canines. To utilize dog parks, you'll need a "Pooch Pass."

Smock Bark Park has lots of space for your dog to enjoy some off-leash fun. Entrance to the park requires a Pooch Pass. A Pooch Pass can be purchased at Perry Park Office, 451 E. 11th Street is a bus stop.

That's why Waggin' Tails Bark Park, located at Louis J. Jenn Memorial Park, 10450 E. 63rd St. This fantastic park features obstacle training equipment, seating, and a double-bubbler water fountain for humans and dogs.
