Bartlett Park is a rustic, natural park in Huntington Beach, located behind the Newland House Museum and Newland Barn.

The Santa Ana River Route is a multi-use trail near Huntington Beach that is a terrific area to walk Petzooie! A parking lot with easy access to the Santa Ana River Trail is shown on the map below. The Rails-to-Trails Conservancy has generously provided Bring Petzooie with map data for this trail for educational purposes exclusively.

On the asphalt portions at Huntington State Beach, dogs are welcome. Petzooie won't be able to join you on the sand at this popular beach, but there are a few concrete bike routes and trails where Petzooie can get some much-needed exercise. The beach is 121 acres in size, and the main dog-friendly route runs along a portion of it, with a distant view of the sea. Huntington Dog Beach is just down the road for dogs that want to feel the sand under their paws.
