Arnold Park

In the early twentieth century, William E. Graham platted wooded land in the north area of Greenville for the Graham Addition. When his son, Richard Graham, died, he inherited the estate, and 10 acres were set aside for a public park to be named after him. In 1909, the city bought the park and kept the name Graham Park. Graham Park has served a variety of purposes over the years, including a zoo, a railway stop, and an outdoor pool. With the support of a Texas Parks and Wildlife 1 million matching parks and open space budget agreement, new restrooms were installed in 2007 and the playground was replaced from the old metal playground equipment in 2012. Harry Myers Park's Dog Park has plenty of open room for your best companion to romp about in. Two off-leash dog play areas are fenced in at the dog park. Smaller dogs have their own area, whereas larger dogs have their own. A common drinking water area is also available for humans and pets to use.

McKinney, like hundreds of other cities, is noted for its lush gardens. The K9 Corral at Craig Ranch allows residents to unwind for a bit and reconnect with nature. In your spare time, read a book, listen to music, observe the scenery, practice yogasanas, play with your children, take part in celebrations, meditate, or smell flowers.

At Old Joe Park, every day is a "pawty"! Our off-leash dog park features entertaining climbing equipment and lots of space for your four-legged pals to run and play. You can stay for a while because there is shaded sitting. Water stations ensure that everyone stays hydrated.
