Horse Creek Trail

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization working to establish a countrywide network of trails from former rail lines and linking corridors, supports the Horse Creek Trail, which is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by the group. This "rail-trail," which was once an abandoned railroad line, is now a terrific spot to walk Petzooie in Dora!

Black Creek Dog Park

Black Creek Park (immediately off Highway 31) — This magnificent park, with its stunning trees, pathways, and babbling creek, is home to our residents' softball fields, two batting cages, and recreational and church leagues. A one-mile walking path is encircled by a tiny brook that runs alongside it. Everyone can enjoy the area because it is well-lit and safe. There are constantly a number of people walking and jogging around the track, as well as those who simply want to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature while having a picnic in the park. A pavilion with tables that seats 100 people or more is offered for family reunions and company picnics.
