Beacon Park

Campus Martius Park is a resurrected park in the heart of Detroit, Michigan. After the fire of 1805, Judge Augustus Woodward's plans to restore the city focused on Campus Martius. It was named after the main square in Marietta, Ohio, the Northwest Territories' initial capital.

Throughout its existence, the Midtown Dog Park has been referred to by a variety of names. Because it is sponsored by Shinola, the park is known as Shinola Clock Dog Park because of the enormous street clock that the firm placed.
