Cheaha State Park
Dogs are allowed in most park areas as long as they are on a leash at Cheaha State Park in Delta, Alabama. For safety concerns, several bike and equestrian riding trails do not allow dogs. In stores, food service areas, bathhouses, pools, and swimming areas, dogs are not permitted. Petzooie cannot be left unsupervised, and if left in a heated car for more than 30 minutes, he will be confiscated. Cheaha State Park is suitable for access to the Kentuck ORV-ATV Trail because it is totally surrounded by the Talladega National Forest.
