Malek Park & Dorothy Malek Arboretum

Conneaut Township's forebears had the foresight and vision to establish a park on the magnificent shores of Lake Erie in Conneaut, Ohio, in 1926.

Conneaut Creek originates in western Crawford County, Pennsylvania, and flows north-northwest through Conneautville before entering western Erie County.

The Ashtabula County Metroparks Levy, which was passed in 2014, has permitted the opening of seven additional parks throughout the county, bringing the total number of parks to ten, as well as the resurfacing of 28 miles of trail for recreation, fishing, kayaking, and birdwatching.

Our campground is spread out across 70 acres of largely wooded beauty. At Evergreen Lake Park Campground, we welcome you to inhale the aroma of a campfire while enjoying the crisp breeze that sweeps across Conneaut, Ohio, reminding you that Lake Erie is only minutes away.
