1. Helen Hazen Wyman Park

Helen Hazen Wyman Park was Lake Metroparks' first acquisition in 1959. The Lake County Metropolitan Park District was the name of the park system at the time.

2. Hector H.Henry, II Greenway

Beginning Thursday, April 28th, the 5-12 year old playground structure will be closed for removal and replacement. During the playground equipment replacement, the park and other amenities will remain open to the public.

A 5 acre little dog park and a 1.5 acre large dog park featuring a play area, restrooms, and greenway parking (Hector Henry Greenway, Riverwalk). On Weddington Road, a new dog park will open close to the fire station.

Concord Community Park is a 30-acre park located near to El Monte School on the north side of Cowell Road, between Hale Drive and Sheridan Road.

The PAW Patch is a fenced-in area where dogs can run and play off-leash. In a peaceful creek-side setting with huge oak trees, there is one reservable group picnic place. The vantage point is graced by a Vietnam War Memorial.

The 126-acre Newhall Community Park is located east of Treat Boulevard along Galindo Creek. Turtle Creek Road or Newhall Parkway, south of Clayton Road, provide access. The park is bisected by Galindo Creek.
