Peebles Island State Park

From Albany to Rotterdam, the Mohawk-Hudson Bike-Hike Path connects to the Erie Canalway bike trail system, allowing it to continue west along the Mohawk River. The trail is mostly paved bike pathways, although there are a few sections where you'll have to ride on the road, with obvious signs leading you back to the dedicated bike path.

This 179-acre park, which was founded in the early 1900s by movie producer Adolph Zukor, features a fitness trail, hiking trails, horseback riding, a horse corral, nature studies, soccer, and cross-country skiing.
