1. Arrowhead Recreation Area

Arrowhead Recreation Area is in Sullivan County, New Hampshire, and is owned by the city of Claremont. During the winter months, alpine skiing, snow tubing, and ice skating are available. Arrowhead Recreation Club, a non-profit organization, manages the facilities.

March through October are the best months to tour this trail. Dogs are permitted, but they must be kept on a leash.

The walks are lovely and relaxing. A excellent spot to walk your dog off-leash, hike, admire the scenery, or have a picnic.

State Park of Monadnock State Beach of North Hampton State Park of Odiorne. Except for the parking lot and the Little Monadnock Mountain Trail, Rhododendron State Park is free to visit.

325-acre park includes wooded trails for hiking, cross-country skiing, running, mountain biking, and other activities. Trail Exercise Length. Network, 6.7 miles Dogs are permitted, but they must be kept on a leash.

The City will no longer offer doggie waste bags at neighborhood parks. Pooch Park, Rancho San Jose Park, Thompson Creek Trail, Padua Avenue Park, and Claremont Hills Wilderness Park have all had their doggie waste bag dispensers removed. Customers must bring their own doggie bags to the park. Please remember to clean up after your pets.

College Park is home to the Claremont Little League, which is located on 8.2 acres immediately south of the Metrolink trains on South College Avenue. Claremont's first Pooch Park, which opened in July 1996, is also located there.
