Alamance Parks

Jiggs Askew Memorial Bark Park is located behind the YMCA in Burlington City Park, off of Kitchen Street. It is situated on around two acres of fenced-in ground, with two different zones for smaller and older dogs and larger dogs. Dog owners will find nicely planted places with benches around the park, as well as access to water for their dogs.

Baseball and soccer fields, walking trails, tennis courts, playground equipment, and a picnic shelter are all available.

Private tours, disc golf, nature paths, and a restored 19th-century farmstead with animals are all available.

Loop routes that run alongside creeks and the Haw River. Small treks are possible, or you can combine the paths to create a 3-mile loop trail.
